OLR Encounter Evening

On Thursday evening we had 75 people attend  the OLR Encounter  evening. A huge thank you to the following groups for offering their gifts of service:

The Hospitality Team for the delicious food, the Prayer Ministry Team,  and the Net team for providing worship music. A great night of spiritual enrichment and genuine Encounter was had by all who attended. Watch this space for future Encounter events.

NET Team

We had our second week of youth groups, with a huge turnout of 35 at Lighthouse (juniors) and 17 at Illuminate (seniors). We love that we’re beginning to have deeper conversations with students, especially during small group time, and listening to the kids’ thoughts and responses to our talks on the themes of ‘Encountering Jesus’ and ‘Identity – Who Am I?’

We are also continuing to build relationships with students at Unity during the week – so many of them now recognise us and greet us around school which is so encouraging!
