Celebrating Our Parish Community: A Heartfelt Thank You
Dear everyone, I hope this message finds you well. This weekend, we celebrate the conclusion of National Volunteers’ Week and the celebration of our first annual Parish Service Day. As we commence this annual journey to celebrate past, present, and future volunteer contributions within our parish, I want to express my deep gratitude to you, parishioners/brothers & sisters.
Our parish community thrives because of your unwavering commitment, kindness, and selflessness.
A Beating Heart. Our large and diverse parish is not just a collection of people within physical places of worship; it is a living, breathing family. Each parishioner contributes to the heartbeat of our community. Whether someone serves as a volunteer, attends Mass faithfully, or simply offers a smile to a fellow parishioner, every person’s presence matters. Our shared faith binds us together, and it is through our collective efforts that we are creating a vibrant parish that actively accompanies people encounter Jesus.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for:
Your Service: To our dedicated volunteers, thank you for your tireless work. You are the hands and feet of Christ, serving our community with love and compassion. Your contributions—whether in liturgical ministries, outreach programs, or behind-the-scenes tasks—make a significant impact.
Your Presence: To all parishioners, thank you for being part of our parish family. Your presence at Mass, your prayers, and your support uplift us all. You bring your unique gifts, talents, and stories, enriching our shared journey.
Your Kindness: Small acts of kindness ripple through our parish community. Whether it’s a warm greeting, a helping hand, or a listening ear, your kindness fosters an atmosphere of love and acceptance.
Your Faithfulness: Our parish is a tapestry woven from the threads of faith. Your faithfulness—whether during challenging times or moments of celebration— strengthens the fabric of our community.
Together, We Thrive. As we embrace new processes and opportunities for volunteer contributions, let us remember that it is not just about tasks and responsibilities. It is about
building relationships, fostering connections, and creating a space where everyone feels valued. Together, we thrive, and our parish becomes a vibrant beacon of hope for all who seek solace and purpose.
If you have any thoughts or ideas, feel free to reach out. Our parish is better because of you, and I am grateful beyond words. May God continue to bless our parish community.
With heartfelt appreciation.
