Join us in a great New Year’s resolution that will change your life – let’s read the entire Catechism in a year!
Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Parish is inviting our parishioners and friends to join us in reading the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church together using Fr. Mike Schmitz’s podcast, “The Catechism in a Year,” beginning 1st January 2023. With this podcast, we won’t just read the Catechism in 365 days, this podcast will help us understand what it means to be Catholic and allow those truths to shape our daily lives!

What is the Catechism in a Year podcast?
Catechism in a Year is a free daily podcast and reading plan that will guide us through the entire Catechism, complete with encouragement, insights, and enthusiasm that Fr. Mike Schmitz is well known for.
With one short episode each day, you’ll grow in your knowledge of Church teaching and deepen your loving faith. You’ll see how the Church is rooted in Scripture and the wisdom of the Saints.

Alpha
Alpha is our primary tool for evangelisation - sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Alpha is a meal, a movie and a discussion over ten weeks and provides the environment and community in which people encounter the person of Jesus. While there are many opportunities to serve on Alpha, we invite you to first complete an Alpha course as a participant.

Parish Bible Study Groups
We have two Bible study groups operating in the Caloundra central area, one in Landsborough and one in Kawana.
All groups offer hospitality so that people get a chance to know one another better.
