50 Years Of Service
Since the foundation of our Parish back in 1972 we have been blessed with dedicated support staff in our parish Office –they have always worked above and beyond the call of duty! Last Wednesday Bishop Brian Heenan presented certificates of appreciation to Eileen Roberts (25 years), Vicki Howard (15 years) and Dale Rolls (10 years) in recognition of their service to the Our Lady of the Rosary community. Combined, that is a total of 50 years service and as a parish family, we recognize and thank them for their commitment and service.
NET Report
This last week has been a series of unknowns, so many small and big changes have had an impact on the way we can do our ministry, and our team has met this challenge head on. Whenever we meet a challenge, or a change that might seem too big for us to handle, there is always a choice of how we deal with it. This week has been a chance for us to learn how to really lean into God, relying on him instead of ourselves when things get tough. We are always going to come up against things that challenge us and the best thing to do is ask for help. It has been really evident this week how strong the saints can be, how much they can help us when we ask for it. Specifically this week, Saint Joseph has been an anchor for our team and an ally, even when we can’t see it as much. In this year of Saint Joseph, we have a great opportunity to ask for his intercession when we find ourselves struggling. God Bless, The Net Team

Fan The Flame – Plenary Council Reflection
Towards Plenary Assembly One: October 2021 ‘His mercy reaches from age to age’ Luke 1:39-56
God is asking us to refrain from putting barriers and obstacles in the way of God’s mercy reaching the least, the lost and those who feel excluded, especially those who do not yet know the love of God. God is asking us to be a Church that walks together and does not leave anyone behind. (Humble, Healing and Merciful – Discernment Paper p. 6) www.plenarycouncil.catholic.org.au/fantheflame/
