NET Report

This past weekend the team ran a three day camp for students at  Unity College. It was a beautiful and tiring experience with my highlight being adoration. I hadn’t gone into the camp with the expectation of  having a prayer experience myself. In the days leading up to the camp I was more  concerned with acquiring resources and going over the  schedule.  It was refreshing to find myself before Jesus in adoration. It was a reminder for me that Jesus is there in the midst of our work, particularly when we get caught up in the business of our own little world, it is important to stop and notice where Christ is working in our lives. God Bless. God bless, Brooklynn and the NET Team.

Sizzling! – Ignite Youth Conference

Thank you to everyone who brought their appetite along with their shopping list to Bunnings on Saturday. The youth of our Parish were busy sizzling sausages and in the process, raising funds to allow as many as possible from our community to attend this year’s Ignite Youth Conference at the end of September.

Every year, Ignite Youth hosts one of Australia’s most powerful Catholic youth conferences. The Conference draws together a network of high schoolers, young adults, ministry leaders, families, teachers, priests, and religious from around the country, with the intention of sending them out with a passion for authentic faith in Jesus.

On behalf of the youth of our Parish, thank you for your support leading up to the conference. If you would like more information please email Fr Josh on: [email protected]

Legislation for Assisted Dying

Archbishop Mark Coleridge invites us to take urgent action against the proposed legislation for assisted dying. Show your opposition and reject these euthanasia and assisted suicide laws by signing the petition at It only takes a few minutes to complete and it reminds our political representatives of our opposition to this legislation. If we don’t sign the petition, who will?

In Transition

As a Parish Family we extend our prayerful congratulations to  Alexia Bornacina Liebenberg, Gabriel Ruschi Zane & Zidane Ezeakunne who will be baptised this weekend in the Landsborough & OLR church.

We pray for John Lidster who died last week and his funeral will be at G&W on this Friday.

This week we specially remember Fr Mick Skehan  who faithfully served our community and his 5th anniversary is on this Saturday. May their souls and the souls of all our deceased priests, religious and parishioners Rest in Peace.
