Twenty-Eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time

We Need You!

Every week one of the most important ministries of our Parish Family takes place at Maleny and Caloundra. The Children’s liturgy (Kids Club) that is successfully operating at the 9am Maleny and 9:30am Caloundra Masses, provides a vibrant and enjoyable place for younger members of our Parish Family to explore and deepen their faith. We need you to help us continue and expand this vital ministry. Would you consider joining a team? How about asking a friend to join you and going on the roster? You are always part of a team and the programme is coordinated and all the resources are provided. If you would like to find our more information or if you have any questions please email Dale Rolls at [email protected]. Thanks for your support.

Please Exercise Caution

On this Monday, October 11th, work will begin on replacing the guttering on the South side of Our Lady of the Rosary church. To provide plumbers access, please refrain from parking beside the church during the week. Thank you.

NET Update

In the second week of the school holidays the team took some time to relax and start preparing for our last term at Unity. We also took some time to see some sights including hiking around Noosa National Park and Australia Zoo! Recently I’ve been feeling especially grateful to be living in such a beautiful place with such incredible sights around us. Its so easy to take it for granted when we live so close to these amazing places, but talking to people from Brisbane and other places has reminded me how blessed we are to live in this special part of the world that other people only come to enjoy during their holidays!

The Catholic Leader

The October edition of The Catholic Leader is available in the church. Limited copies are available at each community and the cost is only $4 each.

Ladies Lunch

Ladies Lunch will be held at Thai Lime Twist, 24 Minchinton St Caloundra on Friday 15th October at 12noon. Please contact Deborah on 0410531901 if you would like to attend.

A Vocation View

If we really believe in something, it does not seem to be a sacrifice to give up everything else to pursue that one dream. Jesus asks for total dedication, promising in return rewards that no one else can promise: “Go and sell everything you own … then come; follow me.

In Transition

We pray for Jean Bromley & Mario Fais whose funeral rites were held last week.
May their souls and all the souls of our deceased priests, religious and parishioners Rest in Peace.
