St Vincent de Paul Christmas Appeal: Thank you

The St Vincent de Paul conferences would like to thank the local community for their generous support with our annual Christmas Appeal. Your donations enable us to bring some Christmas joy to those doing it tough. The appeal envelopes can still be placed in the church collection boxes. God Bless.


Why not make sure that Reconciliation is part of your Christmas preparations this year?

There are plenty of opportunities across our diverse Parish family to incorporate reconciliation into our Advent journey.  Next Saturday morning at 9am we will celebrate our Advent Rite of Reconciliation beginning at 9am at Our Lady of the Rosary – everyone welcome. Additionally, individual confessions will be available at Beerwah on next Saturday, December 18th at 4:30pm, Landsborough on Friday, December 17th at 8:30am and at Maleny on Tuesday morning, December 21st at 8:30am.


Building Progress at OLR

During the week part of the covered walkway was removed for safety reasons and in preparation for the construction early next year of the covered gathering area.  The first phase of the concreting was completed on Friday.  The next phase will include concreting the walkway adjacent to the disabled toilet.

Christmas Carols at OLW, Landsborough

Next Sunday evening (19th Dec) at Our Lady of the Way church, Landsborough, all parishioners and friends are warmly invited to join the local community for an hour of Christmas carols.  Beginning at 5pm, it is an excellent way of celebrating this time leading up to the birth of the Christ Child and reminding ourselves of what we are celebrating in two weeks time.

Thank You for your support

Your generosity to the Parish is very much appreciated and our Parish mission of witnessing to the Good News takes place through your continued support thank you.   During these Covid times, so much of our parish routine has been disrupted and we have all had to adapt and find new ways of being part of a faith community.  This is especially true of how we financially support the parish.  For some the direct debit option works well, others utilize the collection baskets or drum at the entrance to the church, still others, especially visitors, find the QR code the most convenient way of contributing to the mission and ministry of the Parish.   However you decide to financially support the different communities of Our Lady of the Rosary, a grateful parish says thank you!
