Aura Catholic Community
Did you know that we are creating a vibrant Catholic community in the city of Aura? Our booming population offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to leave behind aspects of old Catholic culture which no longer serve us and create something new which speaks to the needs of people today.
Fr Joshua Whitehead has been appointed by the Archbishop of Brisbane to coordinate the mission in Aura and he would love to hear from you. Indeed, the most fundamental aspects of the mission right now is creating an up-to-date database of Catholics who already live in Aura. Fr Josh is seeking to begin a regular, inclusive communication with Aura residents which isn’t depended on whether someone is a regular Mass-goer or not.
While we can’t yet take enrolments for the new school, we will be accepting expressions of interest from January.
Please scan the adjacent QR code and enter your details for Fr Josh to be in contact with you. Peace and Christmas blessings.

Any Baptised Catholic child who is in Grade 3 or above is eligible to enrol in and celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in term 2. There will be a compulsory Information & Enrolment Night at 5pm on Wednesday, 4th May next year for parents wishing to enrol their children for Confirmation. The programme will run for 4 weeks and then on the 1st of June they will celebrate Confirmation. Any baptised child in Grade 4 or above who has made their Confirmation is eligible to participate in the First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation programme – we celebrate these Sacraments in the first school term.
