The Women’s Global Hub

and supports cancer council Queensland. 

A fashion parade by Vinnies will support St Vincent de Paul Society.

The five St Vincent de Paul conferences of the OLR Parish came together Thursday to celebrate Mass, discuss their common vision 

and joined together for lunch. 

 

Regenerating Australia screening online

May 17 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

This online event will stream a short film called ‘Regenerating Australia’. The film is a fictitious news segment set on new years even 2029 that examines the decade that could be. The film is specifically centered around how we can respond to the cry of the earth. After streaming the film, we will have a panel discussion about ways in which schools, families and parishes can respond to the cry of the earth here in Australia.

There will be books galore for every age group, large print books, jigsaws, DVDs, CDs and more, plus many beautiful indoor and outdoor plants ready to brighten up your home. ALL funds raised go to assisting the 

St Vincent de Paul Society in  continuing to support and give a hand up to those going through difficult times due to 

homelessness, domestic violence,  high rents, and unemployment in our local community. 

So come and grab yourself a bargain at an event that just gets bigger and better each year. 

 

Kingdom Youth

Youth group is back again Friday 20 May from 6pm-8:30pm at Unity College. 

All students in Years 7-12 are welcome. This Friday is KINGDOM OLYMPICS. Come along, play some games, and see if your team can make the podium! 

Fun prizes to be won!!! 

 

Ladies Lunch

The next Ladies Lunch will be this Friday 20th May at 12 noon at Copper Spoon Thai Restaurant Ramada Hotel 75 Esplanade Golden Beach. All ladies are welcome. If you would like to attend please contact Deborah (0410531901) by Monday 16th May.
