Mini Mission 2025!

A huge thank you to all those who came and witnessed Fr Richard Leonard who spoke to us over 3 days. Despite the effects of Cyclone Alfred and low numbers Monday, which was made up online with people watching, Fr Richard provided the Parishioners with inspiration, joy in laughter, some tears but most of all hope in Lent.
A special thanks to Holy Cross Funerals who sponsored the yummy morning teas and thanks to our hospitality team who helped serve over the 3 days.

Help Us Build a Parish that Actively Welcomes and Accompanies New Catholics

Dear Parish Family, our call as a missionary parish is clear: we are to be a community that actively walks with others on their journey of faith. As we strive to be more co-responsible, we must ask ourselves—how are we responding to those who are already seeking Christ?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is one of the most powerful ways we can put our faith into action. Those exploring the Catholic faith need more than instruction; they need witnesses, mentors, and companions—people who will walk beside them, pray for them, and make them feel truly at home in our Church.

We cannot do this alone. We need parishioners who are willing to be sponsors, prayer partners, and guides—people who will reflect the love of Christ through simple yet profound acts of hospitality, encouragement, and support.

This is not just a request—it’s our mission. Our parish cannot grow in faith unless we are helping others do the same. Will you help us build a parish that welcomes and accompanies those seeking Jesus?

With hope and gratitude, Fr Josh

A Year of Engagement

Lord God, I say yes to your will for me:

To live out my baptism in obedience to you.

As a member of our parish,

I commit myself to your mission of invitation:

To be vibrant like your Son, to extend myself in charity,

and to actively accompany people to encounter Jesus.

Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen

On the Journey
