We remember Pope Francis,

a man of humility, pastor of mercy,

and pilgrim of hope.

Let us pray that he may now be caught up

in the promise of God’s kingdom.

Rest in Peace.

ALPHA!

Who are you Inviting to Alpha?

Our Alpha course is starting next week. Have you considered if it’s time for you or a friend to ask some questions and consider faith again, or for the first time.

The course will run Tuesday evening from 29th April in Caloundra 6-8pm.

Registration is essential for catering purposes.  Click here to register and choose your preferred session.

Kingdom Kids Launch!

Kingdom Kids Youth Group is a new initiative in the parish, aimed at actively accompanying kids in Grades 4-6 to encounter Jesus in their lives.
The group will meet once a month on Tuesdays during school terms from 4pm – 5:30pm at Unity College.
These evenings are opportunities to hang out and explore the faith in an accessible way, participate in games and activities, engage with input that helps build understanding of who Jesus is in their lives, and build friendships with likeminded kids in the parish.
Our youth nights are for all students, regardless of their faith background and school.
Faith is a journey that isn’t taken alone – we are here to grow with you! If you’re interested in coming along, make sure to register via our Linktree here: C&F + Kingdom Kids 2025!

Thank you!

To every person who lent a hand in preparing our Easter Liturgies, a grateful parish says “thank you.” Thank you to those who began preparing the music and liturgy run-sheets several months ago. To those who organised rosters and personnel, those who practiced, played, sang, served, decorated, and directed: thank you. We say cheers to the people who worked behind the scenes and we’re grateful to those who proclaimed the Word, projected the words and prayed the words. And finally, thank you to those who simply turned up and added to the Body of Christ!

A Year of Engagement

Lord God, I say yes to your will for me:

To live out my baptism in obedience to you.

As a member of our parish,

I commit myself to your mission of invitation:

To be vibrant like your Son, to extend myself in charity,

and to actively accompany people to encounter Jesus.

Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen

On the Journey

We congratulate Malia Cairns &  Sophia Nijhuis who will be baptised at Caloundra this weekend.

We pray for Raymond Round & Sally Dowling who have died and whose funerals are on Tuesday 29th April 11am at G&W and Thursday 1st May 11am at OLR respectively.

We also pray for the soul of Pope Francis.

May their soul and the souls of our deceased priests, religious and parishioners Rest In Peace.
