The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA is the official title of the journey to become a Catholic as an adult. We have a group of around 10 people who are actively seeking to join the family of the Church. If you are interested in completing your sacraments, you want to start your journey of discernment to become a Catholic or you know someone who is interested now is the time to let us know.
Join us on 26th of June in the Parish Centre at 6:30pm for our Come & See Evening where we will discuss all the
details of the upcoming journey and you can meet the team.
We encourage interested candidates to contact the parish office and someone from the RCIA team will be in contact. PH: 54309390 Email: ca*******@**************et.au
If you are already a Catholic and passionate about supporting the journey of our candidates please let us know. We are looking for people to assist with hospitality, companionship and sponsorship for our candidates. You do not have to be a Catholic expert – so if you are interested contact us via the office and we would love to speak to you.
Have a blessed week, Beth Davies, Mission Coordinator.

Catholic Mission – Thank you
On Monday, 9th June, Catholic Mission welcomed supporters to Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Caloundra. The morning began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Joseph, who spoke about the interconnectedness between Our Lady, Mother of God, and mission. He reflected on the unique ways each of us is called to mission and encouraged us to serve as a beacon for future generations.
Following the Mass, our supporters gathered in the Community Room for a delightful morning tea featuring freshly baked scones. They then had the opportunity to hear from Abraham Muma about the ongoing efforts to support expectant mothers in the Diocese of Mpika, Zambia.
To all our wonderful supporters who attended, thank you. I hope you found the morning both meaningful and uplifting, and that you left with a deeper understanding of the urgent support needed by expectant mothers in Zambia. My own visit was filled with moments of joy, sadness, compassion, and love—but ultimately, I left with hope, which continues to shine through the projects Catholic Mission supports.
Abraham also prepared a THANK YOU message for all of you. Click here to watch the message.

A Year of Engagement
Lord God, I say yes to your will for me:
To live out my baptism in obedience to you.
As a member of our parish,
I commit myself to your mission of invitation:
To be vibrant like your Son, to extend myself in charity,
and to actively accompany people to encounter Jesus.
Who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen
On the Journey
We congratulate Tommy & Hallie Byrne, Eleanor Burl-Ward and Ruadh O’Sullivan who will be baptised at Caloundra & Maleny this weekend.
We pray for Charles Camilleri whose funeral was on Friday 20th June at G&W.
We pray the souls of our deceased priests, religious and parishioners –
Rest In Peace.
