Vinnies Shirts and the Boys

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be highlighting several ministries in our parish that are led by you, faithful parishioners who selflessly give of your time and effort to evangelise by sharing the Good News in different way and mediums. We thank you for your ministry!!

Bible Study Groups – run by Caroline Kettle

We are meeting in 2 different groups (Tue evening and Wed morning) but studying the same topic. This term we are focusing on The Fruit of the Spirit.  We are finding it interesting; so far we have looked at Love and Joy, and the guidebook has stimulated good discussion, enabling us to deepen our understanding and our faith, and how to manifest the fruit in our lives. We have also had the opportunity to make new friends and grow this friendship so it has truly been a blessing for us all.

If you would like to know more about joining a Bible study group, please email  the parish office – [email protected]

The current groups are:

Tue: Eileen, Caroline, Helen, Trisha, Merle, Cristina and Edgar (missing Julie)

Wed: Cathy, Carol, Walter, Pam, Caroline, Clare  (missing Claire)

Our Lady Of the Rosary Conference of St Vincent de Paul, Caloundra

Jesus told us ” the poor you will always have with you” and this is certainly the reality in the Caloundra area today. The OLR Conference of St Vincent de Paul strives to assist those in need using the Corporal Works of Mercy as our guide. By home visitations, we are able to “feed the hungry” and also help with other basic needs such as educational needs, scripts, rental assistance, clothes etc.

We meet every Tuesday at 3-00pm in the Parish Centre. Our meetings are designed to deepen our relationship with God, support fellow conference members and assist the poor in our parish. For more information call Dawn on 0417918547
