Fourth Sunday In Ordinary Time
Alpha Invitation
Alpha Invitation

Monday 10am OLR Alpha Course – Places Available

Have you ever considered investing in your faith? The life-long Christian journey that we’re on requires deliberate investment on our part so that we are constantly learning new things, making new friends, and being made new in the image of Christ. Our next season of Alpha is being offered in a daytime slot and consists of a morning tea and cuppa, a 20min faith-based video each week, and the opportunity for guided discussion from our wonderful small group  facilitators. Email [email protected] today to enrol you and a friend in this faith formation opportunity starting on Monday 31st January.

RCIA Volunteers Needed

Last week’s newsletter contained an invitation to Parishioners to join this year’s RCIA team.  The RCIA is simply the  Acronym for the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and it is a journey of faith for all involved paving the way for a person inquiring about our Catholic faith to discover more about what we believe. We all have different gifts and talents, perhaps this is your ministry?   Each year we form a team of parishioners who help coordinate the RCIA journey and if you are  interested or would like more information please contact Fr Ejikeme – [email protected] – Marie Pucko 0408 779 507, or email the Parish Office [email protected]

Children’s Church Volunteers Needed

Children’s Church is an important ministry that takes place at the start of Mass when the younger members of the congregation are sent forth with a leader who explores with them age appropriate reflections on the gospel or some other related theme.  The children and the leaders return to the church and re-join their families at the conclusion of the Eucharistic Prayer.  At Maleny this ministry already works well and with the resumption of school quickly approaching, we want to start up children’s church at the 9:30am Caloundra Mass once again.  All the material for Children’s Church is provided and it works well when there is a pool of volunteers willing to take turns and work as a team.  If you are interested or would like more information please contact Dale Rolls [email protected]
