Grief-Support Ministry

In our parish, we celebrate many funerals every year – both in our churches and in the funeral homes around Caloundra.

To help support families who lose a loved one, we have a brand new process in place for sending a condolence message to the next of kin(s) after a funeral is celebrated; we also send them an anniversary message every year. There are, however, further opportunities for us, as a parish, to offer grief support to families who celebrate funerals in our parish.

We are calling for expressions of interest for people who would like to be part of developing a Grief Support Ministry. Please prayerfully consider if you have the capacity to serve in this ministry and so offer yourself as the hands and feet of Jesus.

You can leave your name and contact details at the front desk or via email: [email protected]
