Children & Families Team

As 9am rolled around last Friday morning, the OLR Parish Centre was buzzing with excitement as a group of bright-eyed, bushy tailed kids were signed in, ready for another fun-filled Kingdom Kids school holiday activity day. The day kicked off with Lego construction, bracelet-making, and chalk drawings, followed by introductions where the children shared fun names and got to know one another through interactive games. After morning tea, we explored the theme of Scripture from John 15:15 and discussed what it means to have Jesus as a friend.

Next, came some lively singalongs and the highlight of the day—decorating colour-wheels that explained different ways Jesus shows His love for us. We ended the day with some quiet time for prayer, and before we knew it, the morning had flown by, and it was sadly time for everyone to head home. All who attended had a fantastic time! A special thank you to our amazing helpers, Julie, Kevin and Bryony, who made sure the day was a resounding success. We can’t wait to see everyone again at our next Kingdom Kids event in April 2025!
