Children & Families Ministry Update
What a wonderful and jam-packed few months we have had! And it’s only halfway through the year! Thank you to all the children and families who have participated in our events and initiatives so far – we cannot wait to journey with you for the rest of 2025!
On Friday 13th June, 52 children completed the Sacrament of Confirmation at Our Lady of the Rosary Church! It was a wonderful occasion, filled with the gifts and fruits of the spirit, as well as plenty of singing, dancing and cake consuming!
Massive thank you to our Sacramental Team (Fr Gerard, Nadine, Donna, Amelia, Julie & JP) for all their hard work in journeying with these families. And for John Cooper for his incredible work in decorating the Church!
Please continue to pray for these children and their families as they journey deeper into their faith!
Our Kingdom Kids Youth Group has had a wonderful start to the year, with our second session on Tuesday 17th June! This week we learnt about God the Father, and traced our hands to create an artwork for the Jubilee Archway! There were also plenty of games, food and a time of prayer to wrap up the night. Our next Kingdom Kids night will be Tuesday 15th July 4-5:30pm at Unity College Hall/Chapel. Make sure to register using the QR code below (targeted at children in grades 4-6)!
Our next big event is Saturday 5th July: Parish Family Fun Day! This will be a wonderful event for families in the Parish.
From 11am –2pm, we will be at Kings Beach Amphitheatre bringing the vibes, games, activities, food, and even a footy game!
