Taking up and Exercising our Baptismal Identity Feb 26, 2021

Second Sunday Of Lent

Did you know that when you pray, you exercise your baptismal priesthood? Christians are baptised into a sharing of Jesus’ three-fold office: Priest, Prophet and King. Offering your sacrifices of prayer is a wonderful way to engage more fully in the season of Lent and indeed all year round.

Here in our Coastal and Hinterland Parish, we have a brand new opportunity to pray for other peoples’ needs. Through our new website, we’re able to collect both your personal prayer intentions as well as offer you the opportunity to sign up to a weekly email containing a list of peoples’ intentions.

As we pray for each other, we come together even more as the Body of Christ and magnify God grace on others’ behalf. If you would like to pray for others’ intentions, please complete the form below and you will automatically receive a weekly prayer intention email.
