One of the items in last week’s Evangelization & Pastoral Council report was the proposed introduction of a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in our Parish family. A Reconciliation Action Plan is a strategic document with practical actions that drives our community’s contribution to reconciliation with first nations people. As we move towards the start of NAIDOC week (Sunday, July 4th) and the celebration of the rich and diverse cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, we are reminded of the challenge to respect the culture and values of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Bellow is a RAP flyer by the Archdiocese of Brisbane.
