Encounter Kids Day
The Encounter Kids Fun Day is a faith-filled day for primary school children from Prep to Grade 6. The day includes a range of fun activities, games, music, prayer and engaging talks, all designed to help children grow in their understanding and love of the Catholic faith.
Led by a team of awesome leaders, the program features interactive sessions, small group activities and opportunities for prayer. It aims to give children a positive experience of Church life while helping them build friendships and feel part of the wider parish community.
This year’s theme is “Mission: New Life,” reflecting on the joy and hope of the Resurrection.

Term 2 - Sacrament of Confirmation
All baptised children from grade 3 and up are welcome to celebrate their Confirmation in Term 2. The program starts on 21st April at 5-6pm in the OLR Church, and runs for 6 weeks with the Confirmation ceremony on Friday 5th June. Session 1 has been pushed back a week due to 29th May Maleny Show Holiday.
You will need to attend all sessions to be able to celebrate the sacrament.

Seniors Group Outing - April
Discover the beauty of orchids at the annual “Orchids in April” show in Caloundra! Featuring stunning displays from growers across the region. Join fellow parishioners as Fred and Marg share their knowledge and guide us through the plants displayed, including champions. Orchid and foliage sales are available on the day.

Save the Date - Men Alive 2026
MenAlive is a national Catholic ministry for men, created in response to a deep need within both men's lives and the Church. Its mission is to gather men, renew their faith in God, and encourage them to take an active role in the life and renewal of the Church.
The National Catholic Men's Gathering "OCEANS MAX26" is being held on 7th-9th August 2026. Make sure to save the date!
