Gratitude for your generosity

Wow!! Once again, your generosity in donating to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout will have a significant, positive impact right here in the Sunshine Coast. This year we, OLR Catholic Parish, raised over $8000 to help alleviate homelessness; that equates to over 230 meals, 60 beds, and 22 individual support programs! On Thursday night, Michael Stewart, the OLR Primary Principal, Dan McShea, Unity Principal, and Danielle Gleeson, Unity Head of College, Primary, and I, spend the night in the sand on Maroochydore Beach. After a basic soup and bread dinner, we bunked down for the night on cardboard and sleeping bags. Not much sleep was had, but each of us knew that it was a small price to pay for the experience that many people in our part of the world have every night. Your support made, and will continue to make, a significant difference. Thank you, once again, for your generosity to this worthy cause.   Fr Josh
