Meet Dorothy Kay

How long have you been a parishioner?

It will be 19 years in October!

Where is your place of worship?

Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 9.30am Sunday morning mass.

What is your favourite prayer/devotion?

Praying the Rosary, reading the bible, and spending time with God in Eucharistic devotion.

Would you like to share your experience of God’s love?

I experience God’s love and presence in Praise and Worship.

What is your most important practice in ‘living your faith’ as a disciple?

I enjoy daily mass and prayer at home, as well as contacting a few people who need support and encouragement.
I also enjoy helping people who have questions about different aspects of spirituality.

What do you most enjoy about being a part of the parish community?

I enjoy the different programs that take place in the Parish, and being part of it, including leading the Charismatic Prayer Group.

The Catholic Charismatic Prayer Group gathers the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month in the Parish Centre. For more information, please get in touch with Dorothy on 0403 175 714.

Faithful Servants is a regular feature of the ever-present ‘servants of the faith’ across our local parish community.

Please email Bernadette Bain, if you would like to nominate someone for this feature.
Our hope is to feature and get to know every parishioner over the next few years!
