Invitation to celebrate Installation of Fr Josh as Parish Priest of Caloundra Parish
We will welcome Auxiliary Bishop Tim Norton to OLR on the weekend of Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October.Bishop Tim will celebrate mass on Sunday 9.30 at OLR. This will be a special occasion and a celebration for the entire parish. We invite all parishioners of all faith communities to join for this celebration.
Bishop Tim will officially install Fr Josh as Parish Priest of our Parish.
This is a great celebration of Fr Josh’s call to ministry and an important milestone in the life of this parish. We pray for Fr Josh and ask him to be filled with the Holy Spirit, as he shepherds us, his people.After mass we also invite you to join us for hospitality. Bishop Tim will also celebrate mass Saturday evening 5pm at OLR, and everyone is welcome.
Public Rosary at OLR & Maleny – 12th October – All Welcome
We are excited to announce Saturday, October 12th, we will hold a Public Rosary at
Our Lady of the Rosary Church Caloundra and Sacred Heart Maleny.
This will be part of the worldwide celebration of the 107th anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun and the final apparition of Our Lady of Fatima.
9:30am – OLR Caloundra | 10.30am – Sacred Heart Maleny
At Caloundra Fr Gerard will lead the processionfrom 9.30am, which will include the Exposition, Adoration, and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The rally will feature a Multicultural Rosary, with different cultures represented at each mystery station, and will conclude with refreshments for all to share. The Maleny parish community will gather at 10.30am in the carpark of the church to pray for our nation and for peace in our world. We will then retire to the Pat Daley Centre for morning tea.

Please mark your diary for the feast day celebration of Our Lady of the Rosary, who is the primary patron of our parish. We will be celebrating OLR feast day at weekend Caloundra Masses on October 5th and 6th with hospitality and much merriment.
Sacramental Program for Teenagers (Yr 6 – 12)
If your teenager is interested in receiving their sacraments of initiation (baptism, confirmation, and holy communion), we are running the Rite of Christian Initiation for Teenagers (RCIT) program in Term 4. All sessions will be run on Fridays from 3pm – 4pm, beginning Friday 18 October in the Unity College Chapel with Fr Gerard and Felicity.

Seeking Volunteers for Children’s Liturgy at 9:30am OLR Mass
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with our Children’s Liturgy during the 9:30am Mass at OLR. All materials and lesson plans are provided, and training will be offered to ensure you feel confident in this rewarding role. Vinnies 2 Day Mega Book and Plant Sale
It is on again! St Vincent de Paul yearly fundraising event will once again be held at the Kawana Catholic Community Centre, Nanyima Street, Buddina (opposite the Kawana Library) on Friday 25th & Saturday 26th October from 8am – 3pm.
