We say thank you for your financial support during our appeals, your donations for the Christmas Hampers and ongoing prayerful support.

We have 5 Conferences that belong to our Parish:
Our Lady of the Rosary and Our Lady of Good Council, Caloundra.
Good Shepherd, Kawana.
Our Lady of the Way, Landsborough.
Sacred Heart, Maleny.
Both Caloundra and Landsborough Conferences are also providing support to the new suburb of Aura, with the vision of establishing a local conference in Aura in the near future.

St Vincent de Paul – Morning Tea

Kawana St Vincent de Paul Conference is having a morning tea at the Good Shepherd Centre (86 Undara Ave Buddina) on Sunday 28th September. Everybody is welcome! Drop in anytime between 10am until 12 noon.

Mass for Care for Creation

On Thursday 2nd October at 9.00 am in the OLR Caloundra Church, the newly approved MASS FOR THE CARE OF CREATION liturgy will be celebrated to mark the end of the 2025 Season of Creation.

You are invited to stay after Mass to view a ten-minute video produced by Catholic EarthCare Caritas Australia featuring Archbishop Shane Mackinlay (when he was the Bishop of Sandhurst earlier this year.) This short inspirational video outlines what can be done (and is being done) by ordinary people and children to protect our common home.

“When we reduce waste and recycle, we respect not only the Earth but also each other, especially future generations. This is more than environmentalism. It’s a spiritual journey, a call to live in harmony with God’s Creation, with one another and with future generations.”

After the video, you are welcome to stay for a cuppa. No Registration Needed!

Baptism Preparation Evening for Infants

We wish to remind parents with children up to the age of 7, wishing for them to be baptized, that the next preparation meeting is at

Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Caloundra, on Thursday 2nd October 7-8pm.

At this short preparation meeting we outline some of the symbols used at the ceremony, answer any questions and confirm dates. To book in for the preparation evening please email the Parish office ca*******@**************et.au

Alpha On-line – It’s Alpha but not as we know it!

Starting on the 14th of October the parish will be offering a new Alpha course online. If you are unable to leave home in the evening, can’t possibly convince someone to mind your kids for 10 weeks or would prefer the convenience of something in your own home, then this on-line option is for you.

This year, the Parish Office will cover the cost of Break Open the Word for readers at any of our Mass Centres, if the order form is completed and the Readers Training Day is attended (this is where you will collect your book). Normal costing applies for anyone else. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Office.

Ignite Conference 2025 – Brisbane

We invite all parishioners to join us in prayer for the young people, leaders, and speakers attending Ignite Conference Brisbane from Thursday 25 – Sunday 28th September. This powerful four-day Catholic youth conference gathers hundreds from across Australia to encounter Christ through dynamic worship, inspiring talks, sacraments, and community. Please pray that hearts will be set ablaze with faith, hope, and love, and that the Holy Spirit moves powerfully in the lives of all who attend.

APRE Announcement – OLR Primary School

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Nadine Grant as the new Assistant Principal Religious Education (APRE) at Our Lady of the Rosary School, Caloundra.

Nadine brings extensive leadership experience in Catholic education. She is currently the Senior Advisor Leadership and Staff Formation at Brisbane Catholic Education. Additionally, Nadine started her teaching career at Our Lady of the Rosary, School.
