Faith and Formation continues to flourish as we offer meaningful, sustainable programs that help us deepen our relationship with Jesus and one another, bringing to life our Parish Mission of being a vibrant community that warmly accompanies all people to encounter Jesus. 

WHY Does This Matter? 

We know that encountering Jesus is life changing.  However, building a practice and fostering a daily, lifelong relationship and encounter with God is what fuels ongoing transformation.

When people live in relationship with Jesus, miracles and powerful movements of Holy Spirit abound. We are already witnessing this at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, with even more to come.  

Our Prayer Ministry Team continues to grow and develop.  This year we have championed several pilot programs such as Harness the Power of Prayer that we hope to offer more widely in the future. Through this ministry, we have seen miraculous healings, deeper faith, and people growing in their ability to hear God’s voice. The Holy Spirit is moving powerfully among us today, just as He did at Pentecost. 

Keeping It Real… 

It is clear to us that the Lord is moving in our parish, and we do not want one person to miss out on what God has for them.  Our invitation is to GET INVOLVED!  If there is a resource or activity that you would like to have available here at OLR, please reach out to our team – we want your ideas!  

Key Upcoming Opportunities to Get Involved 

Prayer Ministry at Mass– receiving prayer is a beautiful experience.  You don’t need to have a big intention.  

Alpha – an opportunity to really have your faith come alive, this program is being run on Saturdays!  From 18 July – 29 August, 1.30pm – 3.30pm. Scan the QR code to find the registration link. 

RCIA – the Journey to Becoming Catholic – commences on Sat 5 September. Please keep our Candidates in your prayers.

Seeking RCIA Sponsors – parishioners who would like to journey with our RCIA Candidates as they prepare to enter fully into our Catholic community. What an honour and opportunity to share your faith and create community with our newest Catholics! To register interest, contact the Parish office 

Encounter Night & Retreat– Friday evening & Saturday 13 & 14 November (Dates to be confirmed). These are events where miracles always unfold – you don’t want to miss this!
