As we roll into May, it’s been wonderful to see how many beautiful smiling faces we have been able to minster to in our events and initiatives over the last 4 months – and we are only a third of the way through the year!

Over the school holidays, we held our annual Encounter Kids Day in collaboration with the Children and Families Team from Arch Min. We had 40 kids attend – and the day was a blast!

This year’s theme was Mission: New Life exploring all the stories of Jesus after his resurrection. These days are a great way to engage our youngest disciples with faith, while having loads of fun. Some highlights were the water relay races, singing and dancing, planting seeds, making new friends and spending some time in prayer with Jesus. A massive thank you to all our volunteers who helped on the day too!

Our second Kingdom Kids Youth Group was held on Tuesday, 28th April! In this session we talked about how we are Unique and Irreplaceable! With plenty of games, activities, snacks and opportunities to connect with Jesus – this is a wonderful opportunity for children in Years 3–6 to explore their faith and build relationships with one another!

· Children’s Liturgy (Ongoing; Years Prep – 6): every Sunday during the 9:30am OLR Mass.
· Kingdom Kids Youth Group (Years 3–6): Tuesday May 26th @ Unity College Chapel.
· Family Fun Day (all are welcome!): Saturday 13th June @ Jensen Park – Pelican Waters.
· Mums & Bubs Praise and Play (Mums with kids aged 0-5): Monday 15th June 10am – 12pm @ Dobson Room OLR.
· Sacramental Program – First Holy Communion: Beginning Tuesday 14 July (registrations opening soon)
