Our Lady of the Rosary Feast Day Celebrations!
Last weekend, our parish celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary at all our weekend Masses!
Thank you to all those who served in the area of Hospitality, lead a rosary or supported in any other way, and for our Community Life Team for supplying a delicious cake for each Mass!
Mother Mary, please continue to intercede for our parish!
October OLR Seniors’ Outing – Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden
Join us for our next Seniors’ Outing on Thursday, 16 October at the beautiful Maroochy Bushland Botanic Garden.
Arrive: 9:30am. Meet at The Compass Garden Café
Start: 10:00am – enjoy a 1-hour guided walk with a tour guide
Afterwards: Tea & coffee – please bring a plate to share
Remember to bring a hat, water, and comfortable walking shoes for the walk. A wonderful chance to enjoy nature, fellowship, and community together!

Rite of Christian Initiation of Teenagers (RCIT)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Teenagers (RCIT) commenced on Friday, 10 October at Unity College Chapel. However, there is still time to enrol!
This program is designed for High school aged teenagers who are seeking to complete their Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Communion—and journey more deeply into the Catholic faith.
The program will run over six Friday afternoon sessions from 4:00–5:00pm, providing a space for prayer, learning, and sharing faith together.
The journey will conclude on Sunday, 23 November at 5:00pm at Unity College, with the celebration of Mass and the conferral of the Sacraments.

Kingdom Kids Youth Group
Our next Kingdom Kids Youth Group will be held Tuesday 21st October at Unity College Chapel from 4-5:30pm!
This Youth group is aimed at children in Grade 4-6. If you would like to register your child, please click HERE for the registration form!
Ladies Lunch
The next Ladies Lunch will be on Friday 17th October 12 noon at Harry’s Beach Bistro 36 Esplanade Headland Kings Beach. All ladies are welcome to attend. This is a great way to meet other ladies and make new friends. Please contact Deborah 0410531901 by Monday 13th to register your attendance!
Grief Support Group
The next Grief Support morning tea will be held on
Friday 17th October after 9.00am Mass in the Egan room of the OLR Parish Centre.

A Saint For Our Age – Stella Maris Parish
This Sunday will be the feast day of our newest and first millennial saint, St. Carlo Acutis. Known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his use of technology to evangelise, he created an online museum of Eucharistic Miracles which will be on display at Stella Maris Church. You can come an view this display between 5:00pm-7:00pm Saturday 11th October and 7:00am-8:00pm Sunday 12th October. If you are a Youth or Young Adult, you are invited to join in on a special combined event run by the NET Team and YA Leaders with Adoration, Praise & Worship to celebrate this feast day, 3:00pm Sunday 12th October.
